If I can, I hope it can lead me someplace in it to allow me to use AD as a portable program. Then I'm going to extract the the contents which will give me the AD folder and I hope I can find the executable file in it. I just finished putting in the Mint hard drive and I'm going to download linux AnyDesk to the Desktop. I've got an experimental laptop with two hard drives, one for Mint 18.3 and the other hard drive for Windows 7. Can AnyDesk in linux be configured for portable use? I know AnyDesk in Windows can be configured for portable use.
And since we're both gunshy of the terminal, we can't fix it. She's uninstalled and re-installed it many times, but the new version of linux TV will not install. However, she removed TeamViewer form her computer to update it to a newer version of TeamViewer, but somehow the new version of TV will not install. I use TeamViewer for linux to help my sister-in law with her Mint.
